About Us

Staff Qualifications

Each classroom is led by a qualified teacher with a diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE). The rooms also consist of assistant teachers with a wide-variety of childcare experiences and backgrounds. All staff have been trained in CPR and first aid certificates are updated annually.

In addition, Childrenís Castle regularly uses student volunteers that work under the direct supervision of qualified staff. This practice provides the students with valuable education and experience and additional teaching support in the classrooms while helping the centre maintain strong ties to the community.

The ECE qualified supervisor of the centre has been with the company since it was established in 1989 and is responsible for directing the overall program, overseeing the staff, and running the day-to-day operations. The supervisorís extensive experience within the centre and the Bolton community enables her to make strong connections with families and assists parents in transitioning a child into the daycare environment.

Meals

Morning and afternoon snacks are provided to all programs and a hot lunch is provided to the infant, toddler, preschool, and kindergarten programs. The meals are based on a 4 week rotating menu and the menu is carefully designed to follow Canadaís food guide, ensuring nutritious meals and beverages are served.

The Childrenís Castle Daycare and Nursery School was established in 1989 and has earned an excellent reputation for providing Bolton and the surrounding community with quality childcare services. The centre is licensed by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services and adheres to the requirements of The Day Nurseries Act of Ontario.

The centre is routinely inspected by the Fire Department, Health Department, and officers from The Ministry of Children and Youth Services.
